DescriptionThe Head of Department for Project Management contributes to highest realization performance by providing all needed resources in the right capability and availability, by driving towards and effective usage of these and by continuously developing them further to ensure an effective and efficient execution of the corresponding business processes. Responsibilities: Developing an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development Planning, assigning and reporting workload of assigned employees Effective and efficient achieving of specified targets (KPIs) Administrative management of assigned employees Promote and encourage enhancement of customer service and satisfaction Responsible to refine, plan and coordinate a departmental training program Ensuring high performance deliveries of function specific responsibilities Adherence to company policies and ensuring applicable work procedures are followed Ensuring appropriate expertise availability within the function Actively support the development of processes related the function Quality, Health and Safety issues related to assigned employees Compliance with code of conduct and local regulations Escalation of conflicts to proper channels and departments Work in coordination with the Head of Project Office and other members of management to achieve overall vision, mission and Company goals RequirementsThe successful candidate should have the minimum qualifications and/or skills: Bachelor's Degree desired, Master's Degree preferred; will consider years of experience in lieu of education. Project Management experience at least 5 years (Head of department) , Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Proven ability to produce team results in a manner that achieved profitability, while enhancing work environment Strong leadership and teambuilding skills Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Good knowledge of the business process landscape, with an emphasis on the core processes and department specific standards Sound methodological, person and social skills Ability to travel to job sites and to other group locations as needed Excellent communication and writing skills. Proficient written and spoken English. Experience with 'Ley de Obra publica' and 'Ley de adquisiciones y servicios publicos' in the oil & gas industry.
