.**LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU****Your Profile**- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Degree from an accredited higher education institution or equivalent work experience- 5+ years' working experience related to bid management and public and private tender processes- Proficiency with Microsoft programs and select engineering programs- Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills in Spanish & English (preferred)- Team management experience- Domestic and international travel to support training, project presentations, bid clarification and project kick off meetings- General awareness of Industrial & distributed power generation service market and broad knowledge of technologies like steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, generators, engines etc.**Your Responsibilities**- Develop and implement a winning marketing (bid management) strategy that is aligned with the regional budget/sales target objectives- Lead a team of marketing professionals in different parts of the region- Lead the bid development processes starting from review of clients RFQ, have a clear understanding of customers request, proposal preparation, project schedule preparation and making a winning bid strategy using tools such as Sales Force, MAT 2.0 etc.- Regular coordination with various regional teams like SCM (Supply Chain Management), PCC (factories), OM (Order Management), OPS (Operations) and PDMs (product development managers) for support during the bid making process activities.- Coordinate with Sales team to prepare and analyze the most competitive pricing- Keep appraised of competitor approaches & offerings, including intelligence on reputation, capability, customer base, products, pricing & promotion.- Assist the Sales Managers in developing Technical and Commercial strategies- Reviews the proposal process for compliance with established regional processes, including proposal completeness, accuracy, degree of configuration, cash flow analyses, risk assessment forms (execution, commercial, legal), solution configuration, on-time submittals, etc.- Ensure that the Technical and Commercial proposals in response to client inquiries meet Siemens Energy´s standards for quality, completeness and timeliness- Identify cost and time-saving opportunities inside the proposal development process, or stemming from Non-Conformance instances and implement process improvement initiatives- Contribute or lead Bid Strategy discussions for new opportunities, providing input on technical and value advantages of Siemens Energy product and service offerings
