About Company:One of the leading Steel manufacturers at East Africa.Job Profile:Responsible for direction, strategy, planning, and execution for the Plant operations.Manages and directs the activities of SMS (Induction Furnace, AOD, LRF) & CCM operations and production concerning process logistics and metallurgy.Plans and supervises the achievement of output, cost, efficiency, and quality targets.Studies the technical feasibility and analyzes the production & cost benefits of implementing the latest processes, technologies & equipment in Steel Melt Shop.Ensures Steel Plant objectives like Quality Cost Reduction, Safety, and Environment Standards are achieved.Investigates and monitors performance, analyzes shortfalls and abnormalities within the process, implements remedial actions, and suggests technical changes where necessary.Interacts with technology suppliers & vendors engaged in SMS and ensures improvement in vendor productivity.Conducts technical analysis of the process parameters to enhance productivity and reduce production costs.Monitors process failure with Root Cause Analysis and implements corrective & preventive measures for quality improvement.Contributes economic value addition in steel-making operations by optimizing charge-mix and alloy addition for required chemistry.Ensures effective implementation of the Quality Control Plans.Desired Profile:Engineers with 10+ years of Production experience in Steel Melting Shop.Technical mind with a broader understanding of troubleshooting.Good man management skills.Proficient in English.Willing to commit long-term.Compensation:Net Salary in the range of $2500-$3000 (Negotiable on current emoluments) + Accommodation + Car + Medical + All Expat benefits.Submit your resume to: ******#J-18808-Ljbffr
