**Your key responsibilities**
- Communicate with data provider to source the appropriate data content and format within the expected timelines.
- Evaluate the completeness and accuracy of the input data with guidance from within the Team and the hedge fund manager.
- Reconcile the input data with other available data points and clear exceptions/rejects and map/model positions.
- Evaluate the appropriateness of risk results derived from input data and MSCI analytics.
- Work closely with the Team within location and Mumbai.
- Report progress and status to management (status of funds in queue, metrics etc.)
- Create and maintain a working relationship with fund administrators, HedgeFunds, etc.
- Increase the number of hedge funds covered in our hedge fund transparency business.
- Handle ad-hoc requests.
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Bachelor's degree. A degree in finance or related field
- Financial background: Derivatives, understanding of global financial markets, different financial instruments and investment risk management
- Proficient in Excel
- 1-2 Years of previous working experience, internships in financial investment firms and/or managing financial data is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Fluent in English.
- General knowledge of details related to stocks, bonds, futures, forwards., options and other traded instruments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Desirable knowledge of market data systems.
