**What You Will Do**
- Coordinate with raw cable suppliers to define cable characteristics that meet design requirements.
- Engage in close communication with OEMs to define the cable strategy, including re-certifications and standardizing quality certificates.
- Organize monthly meetings with main cable suppliers to discuss open topics and understand their roadmap and establish regular quality audits with cable suppliers to ensure compliance with control plans, PFMEA, and production controls.
- Support the submission of initial SI (Signal Integrity) testing requirements and coordinate with suppliers for initial SI validation and long-term aging tests raw cables.
- Participate in cross-functional teams (CFT), contribute to 8D problem-solving activities, drive improvements in raw cable manufacturing, and support cost-optimization strategies, including local-for-local approaches and considerations for the China market.
- Evaluate proposed changes in the cable from a technical perspective, conducting risk analysis and preparing documentation.
- Participate in industry committees such as SAE J3117/x and provide feedback to the team, particularly related to Ethernet raw cables.
- Support the CFT in DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) projects related to raw cables.
- Maintain the raw cable coax database and Automotive Cable Specification Material Number Matrix, including uploading new part numbers and DVPR numbers after successful validation.
- Develop robust PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) requirements focused on internal Molex requirements for raw cables.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Strong experience in raw cable design, development, and manufacturing.
- Familiarity with high-speed data transmission requirements and industry standards.
- Experience in conducting Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), managing Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
- Database management skills, specifically in maintaining raw cable specifications.
- Fluent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with industry committees and standards such as SAE J3117/x.
