.Thank you for your interest in our real estate Home Buying Associate - Appointment Setter position.Please read the FULL job description below before applying, to ensure it's a good fit.HOME BUYING APPOINTMENT SETTEROur company has several different inbound marketing channels, so the Home Buying Associate (HBA) is one of the first points of contact when a seller reaches out to us because they're interested in selling their home. The HBA will review the home details with the seller, gauge their motivation, and set up an appointment for the seller to speak with the Home Buying Manager (HBM) / closer to sign the contract. This is a remote work-from-home position and is incredibly lucrative because of the potential for uncapped commissions. Our two top performers last year earned over $50,000 USD in 2021.QUALIFICATIONS- Speaks and writes fluently in English (prior experience working for a North American company or prior experience living in the U.S. or Canada a plus)- Must have reliable, high-speed internet- Minimum two (2) years in a sales and / or appointment setting position required- Proven track record of sales or appointment-setting success- Must have your own computer / laptop capable of managing the company's IT systems and a quiet dedicated work space (a desk or table with a chair is ideal) free from noise and distractions- High energy, results-driven personality- Loves friendly competition with fellow team members- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills- Highly empathetic, kind, non-aggressive demeanor (we work with sellers in a variety of challenging situations that requires a great deal of care and empathy to build trusting relationships)- Patient and doesn't get burnt out by repetition or rejection- Follows company policies and procedures- Able to adapt to changes in a growing company and evolve with the company's growth- Proactive; eager to learn and has a growth mindset - accepts coaching and feedback positively and embraces implementation of new changes- Positive can-do attitude - builds up the team rather than tearing others down to get ahead- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision, but also a great team player- Experience in real estate is preferred, but not required; we provide full paid trainingESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Answer incoming phone calls and reach out to sellers who filled out a form, making the first contact- Make follow-up phone calls to sellers whom our team had previously contacted but the seller wasn't ready at that time- Build rapport with the seller, find out property details, and gauge the motivation- Set up appointments for the seller to speak to our Home Buying Manager (our closers)- Take detailed notes to pass on to the Home Buying ManagerORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS- Reports directly to the Acquisitions Department Manager- You will be part of the Acquisitions Team, which consists of 5 people total + the department managerCOMPENSATION- $6
