Main Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely execution of payroll (weekly and biweekly process) Ensure accurate and timely execution of employer obligations (IMSS-INFONAVIT-FONACOT) Lead and manage the performance and development of the payroll team, providing feedback and coaching to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of employee data and payroll-related accounting transactions. Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Develop and implement employer obligations, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor and analyze employer obligations data to identify areas for improvement and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Develop and deliver training and communications to ensure payroll-related policies and procedures across the organization. Ensuring timely and accurate filing of payroll & employer obligations related reports of payments, to different stakeholders, local and corporate office Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement payroll-related strategies and initiatives. Requirements/Skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Administration or a related field 10+ years of experience managing payroll functions and employer obligations. Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR Experience managing a team and driving process improvements. Advanced knowledge of local payroll software solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences
