**About the Role**:We are looking for an efficient and highly organized **HR and Business Operations Manager** to support and drive HR and operations excellence at Cozymeal!
**Responsibilities Include**:- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy- Manage service delivery of key strategic initiatives and operational effectiveness efforts for payroll.- Oversee timely and accurate deposits of payroll taxes and liabilities by third party administrators including resolution of payroll issues.- Ensuring that business operations meet compliance standards and government regulations.- Establishing and managing vendor contracts, including but not limited to negotiating rates for services and coverage upon renewal.- Provide backup assistance to paralegals when necessary, including legal document preparation and edits, printing/copying, client correspondence, e-filings, mailings, deliveries, document notarizations and office telephone coverage.
**Requirements Include**:- At least 5 years of experience in HR, payroll, and general Business Administration.- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business, finance, accounting or public administration, or a related field.- Knowledgeable in HR and payroll management including general administration such as insurance and vendor management.- Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations to ensure compliance.- Paralegal experience is preferred but not required
