Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

About The Role:
The Human Resources (P&C) Business Partner for Sterling Latin America will report directly to the People & Culture International Leader and support in aligning business objectives with employee and management.
The position serves as an advisor to management on human resource-related issues.
A successful Business Partner acts as an employee champion and change agent.
The role assesses and anticipates People-related needs.
The position formulates partnerships across the P&C function to deliver solutions for management and employees.
This Is What You'll Do:
- Provides day-to-day people support to business units to ensure positive employee experiences- Partners with business leaders to understand business and organizational alignment- Creates employee experience events in partnership with P&C colleagues and others to help drive employee engagement- Supports in coaching and advise managers on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance.- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the P&C group to develop solutions, programs and policies- Manages and resolves employee relations issues.
Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations- Will ensure assigned LATAM hires are onboarded consistently and enrolled in appropriate payroll and benefit programs- Will be responsible for managing processes related to employee terminations and any government related documentation and local reporting activity- Works to stay abreast of regional employment laws updates and shares with global People & Culture team as appropriate- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation- Develops offer and contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers and partners with global Talent Acquisition team to execute- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning- Identifies learning and development training opportunities for business units and individual executive coaching needs and makes recommendations to help ensure success- Facilitates and monitors of training to ensure success.
Follows up to ensure training objectives are met- Partners with other in P&C and leadership to develop content for employee/internal communication- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment- Develops and implements new ideas to address challenges and opportunities
This Is What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years of HR Business Partner experience is ideal- Degree in human resource management strongly preferred, or one to two years of experience in the HR field and any other degree,- Exceptional client facing abilities- Fluency in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese- Experience working for a multinational company
Specific Tasks to Include:
- Talent Acquisition support including interviewing, contract term development, contract execution and onboarding- Understanding of health, welfare and compensation laws and guidelines for example: Colombian EPS Affiliation and other local health insurances - ARL - Compensation Fund - HR Reports (Disabilities, Vacations, Increments, promotions)- Ensure proper management of regional employee files and data retention requirements- Manage:
- English Program at locations where supported-
- Student Scholarships where offered-
- LATAM policy review and training as required- Manage employee relations and labor related Issues (Contracts, Termination of Contracts)- Lead regional implementation and adoption of Workday- Benefits offerings, support market practice review, partner with Total Rewards
