**Responsibilities**:- Anticipate and plan for long-term HR needs and trends.- Lead Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.- Initiate recommended actions and approaches related to HR issues to HR Mexico for broader consideration and policy formulation.- Ensure HR operation operates in accordance with Mexico's Law employment requirements (LFT).- Ensure HR operation operates in accordance with Local union requirements.- Lead Union Negotiations (CCT).- Lead HR programs and policies through partnering with expertise areas' leaders while managing tactical implementation through HR managers.- Develop processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals.- Counsel and assist business leaders to maintain, identify and implement actions that improve or maintain a positive employee relations environment (GPTW).- Identify any internal and external factors that may affect employee retention; address these issues byworking in concert with managers to develop proactive strategies to meet or exceed turnover goals.- Develop action plans to respond to current and anticipated staffing issues and needs, labor lawsuits and ensure the smooth running of labor contracts between employees and the company.- Develop and mentor key regional staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.- Assist regional management by establishing and maintaining internal pay consistency and equity.- Administration of corporate compensation programs and merit pay programs within the region in partner with expertise areas and COE's.- Coordinate and follow up on the preparation of the budget of the areas under its responsibility.
**Education**:- Bachelor's degree in industrial psychology, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related careers.- Postgraduate/Master's degree studies are preferred.
