Position SummaryReporting to the team manager of Human Resources, this position will be responsible for the HR Department specifically related to employee recruitment, payroll, benefits, compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, and General Affairs. The HR Generalist II needs to be a self-starter with a generalist background and at least 3 years' experience.ResponsibilitiesHR RelatedRecruit, interview and select applicants.Responsible for the new hire process; sending, receiving, andmaintaining new hire documents.Assist management in determining appropriate staffing levels, recruitment resources, and objective selection techniques.Recruitment and temp agency vendor management.Support the new hire onboarding process including orientation, entry into HRIS, administering/tracking required training, assigning background forms, and initiating and monitoring new hire background checks.Manage and maintain payroll & benefit data and reports.HRIS maintenance and update employee roster.Serve as a link between departments and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.HR documentation.Monitor and manage timecards and related policy.Administer and handle vendors and agencies (Recruiting, payroll, benefit, HRIS).General Affairs/Admin RelatedOversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that the office is operating smoothly.Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls.Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
