Essential Responsibilities:
- Implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business.
- Advises managers and employees on sensitive labor and employee relations matters, performance issues and disciplinary actions.
- Advises and assists managers in identifying employee relations issues and determining appropriate course of action.
Administers the organization's benefits programs (e.g., retirement plans, leave policies, wellness programs, insurance policies, etc.)
- Ensure that the pay practices comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
- Maintains pay plan and benefits program.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Manages HR & business metrics.
- Focal point with Actuarial & Accounting Firms.
- Working with insurance brokers and benefits careers
- Develops HR simplification projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar
- HR Experience 10 years
- Payroll experience 2 years
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Mexican Labor Law
