About the Role:As a key member of our Human Resources team at Micron, you will be responsible for driving Employee Relations (ER) strategies that foster a positive and productive work environment. You will work closely with local leaders to design and implement ER programs and policies that align with our global standards.The ideal candidate will have eight years of experience in HR, preferably in labor relations, with a strong understanding of Mexican and US labor laws. They should be able to conduct effective negotiations with union representatives and develop positive relationships.Key Responsibilities:Develop and direct ER strategies that ensure compliance with global standards and regulations.Lead workplace investigations in accordance with ER's global investigation policy and process.Provide ER expertise and consultation on labor laws and practices, including benchmarking industry best practices.Advise business leaders and managers on people management challenges and employment laws.Partner with global business partners and centers of excellence to resolve team member issues.Work with the Legal department to manage team member issues and conduct relevant trainings.Plan, execute, and monitor team member separations, severance, and restructuring activities.Provide leadership and support in labor union relations, staying updated on local trends and government priorities.Utilize data analytics to generate insights that inform ER strategies.Requirements:Eight years of work experience in HR, preferably in labor relations.Strong understanding of Mexican and US labor laws and practices.Critical thinking skills and ability to influence and build trusting relationships.Effective communication skills, including written and verbal presentation.Ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.Benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.Opportunities for professional growth and development within a leading technology company.About Us:Micron is an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions, transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
