**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Partners with Director of Recruiting to recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Implements new hire orientation, off boarding and employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Partners with the Director of Human Resources, General Counsel, and local employment law counsel as needed to address escalated issues.
- Stays abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Executes a safety program, encompassing safety training, awareness campaigns, and preparedness initiatives.
- Oversees the onsite medical facility and manages the nursing team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Performs and coordinates performance evaluations to all levels of the organization.
- Establishes and coordinates local maquiladora industry associations partnerships.
- Coordinates and performs necessary training to all levels of the organization.
**Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience**:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of prior experience in human resources and recruiting. Must have prior experience in both recruiting and as an HR generalist.
- 5 years' experience supervising an HR team
- A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is preferred.
- English language (fluent)..
- Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Proficient time-management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- A professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently or with a team on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
