About The RoleFor an important Maritime Company, we are currently looking for a HR Manager, if you're passionate and deeply curious about finding solutions to new challenges, you could be the perfect fit for this role.To be successful in this Role, you need:Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years' experience as a HR Manager.- Experience in maritime services, offshore projects, and supply vessels.- Extensive experience in training and development within the maritime industry.- Experience in recruiting, deploying, and managing crew members for the company's vessels.- Effective management of employee relations.- Strong commitment to ethical business practices, in full accordance with relevant corporate policies.- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.Scope of work includes but is not limited to:- Oversee the recruitment, deployment, and management of crew members for the company's vessels. Ensure the welfare of all crew members, including their health, safety, and well-being while on board.- Ensure all HR practices comply with international maritime laws, conventions (such as the International Maritime Organization standards), and local regulations. This includes the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC) requirements, safety training, and certifications.- Manage and coordinate training programs for crew members to meet regulatory requirements and enhance their skills. Ensure all crew members have the necessary certifications and are up-to-date with the latest safety procedures and operational training.- Implement performance evaluation systems for both onshore and offshore staff, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
