.The HR Manager is a pivotal role as the first HR hire at Pulppo, reporting directly to the CEO.
This position is responsible for establishing and managing all aspects of human resources, ensuring that Pulppo attracts, retains, and develops its talent.
This role will build the HR infrastructure from the ground up and will work closely with the CEO on many key initiatives.Pulppo is a tech-enabled real estate broker in Latin America that values a dynamic team, passionate about what they do and is always looking to thrive.Key Responsibilities:Talent Retention: Develop and implement strategies focused on retaining top talent, recognizing that this is more critical than acquisition.This includes creating a positive and engaging work environment.Developing career paths and growth opportunities.Ensuring competitive compensation and benefits.Hiring Process Improvement: Evaluate and improve existing hiring plans.Optimize the interview process.Create necessary documentation and onboarding materials.Implement best practices for efficient hiring.Sourcing and Recruitment: Proactively source and recruit qualified candidates utilizing various methods.Manage the full cycle of recruitment.Utilize AI tools and platforms for candidate sourcing and screening to improve efficiency.Culture Development: Take ownership of the company's culture by planning team-building activities, including quarterly events.Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.Create initiatives to improve employee morale and engagement.Performance Management: Manage the performance review process.Develop and implement action plans based on performance reviews.Ensure transparency and alignment on expectations and goals.Hiring and Termination: Handle all aspects of the hiring and termination processes.Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and improve employee experience.Policy Implementation: Develop and manage essential policies.Oversee vacation and PTO tracking.Create and implement a home office policy.Qualifications:Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.Experience: Proven experience in HR roles, with a strong emphasis on talent management, recruitment, and culture development.Experience in a fast-paced startup environment is preferred.Skills:Proficiency with AI tools and technologies for HR functions.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.Strategic and analytical mindset to solve people-related issues.Additional Assets: Experience working in the real estate industry or with luxury brands is beneficial.Manager Expectations:Career Development: Understand and support team members' career goals, connecting their work with their aspirations.Feedback: Provide regular, balanced feedback that supports growth
