.Work Mode: OnsiteLocation: Onsite - Reynosa, MexicoOpportunityUnder the leadership of the Director, Human Resources, the Manager-Human Resources in partnership with plant leadership will be responsible for the talent & culture strategy for identified Mexico Operations facility. This role will develop, direct, plan and execute people initiatives as well as lead an on-site HR team that enables the organization to meet its business objectives. The Manager, Human Resources is a consultative business partner, working closely with plant leadership, HR Center of Excellence and Shared Services, with the goal of driving the talent and culture strategy that will improve and enable operational excellence, organizational agility, and offer an engaging employee experience and environment.Specific ResponsibilitiesDevelop strong relationships with associates and Union leadership by spending time on the manufacturing floor, working with managers and supervisors, and developing a strong communications strategy.Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.G. the employee survey) to determine organizational issues and action plans.Manage day-to-day operations and development of onsite Human Resources Team.Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including talent acquisition, assessment, performance management, and employee development.Support plant operations through headcount planning, workforce planning, and recruitment.Owner of HR metrics, responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing data.Provide strategic and consultative leadership guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading/coaching others through change.Identify critical positions and develop succession strategies for those positions. Identify high potential associates for development. Recommend and implement developmental assignments for selected associates to ensure exposure to key business areas and senior executives.Develop and co-ordinate Human Resources related modules within the Strategic Planning process to ensure that future initiatives undertaken are not restricted by limits in human capital and executive capabilities.Resolve employee relation issues. Responsible for all necessary regulatory compliance and risk management issues in accordance with geographic regulations.Skills/RequirementsBachelor's degree in human resource management, industrial/labor relations, or psychology. Postgraduate training in Human Resources or Management preferred.Minimum five years' experience in Human Resources, with an emphasis on business partnership, operational excellence, and culture transformation with proven abilities in leading best in class people strategies in a manufacturing plant environment
