Our Purpose - Add Life to a Lifetime of LearningAbout the role: Passionate about employee experience, the Country Care HR Operations Analyst will report to the Country Care Latam Lead. This role will be an operational driver and in-country HR subject matter expert. This position will partner with HRBP's of business division, Centers of Excellence (CoE), shared services ("Pearson People Services"), Payroll, Solutions (IT), and Finance, to keep Pearson competitive and compliant. You'll be the go-to person for Hispano-American Countries within the global Country Care organization.Key Responsibilities:Focus on supporting day-to-day activity in 1 complex multiple market region.Support the implementation of a new operating model in the country, and possible process improvements.Support the implementation of the HR long- and short-term strategy as per Country Care regional guidelines.Maximize the value of services across the employee hire-to-retire lifecycle through exceptional delivery and provide expert support in HR compliance.Take ownership to identify gaps and work on a Process Improvement portfolio for a single country.Provide an exceptional experience through innovation, simplification, and digitization.Manage high-profile escalations through multiple team partnerships, assess root causes, and implement solutions to reduce escalations and improve processes.Manage adherence to compliance/local regulations with the guidance of the leader of the organization.Partner with our Legal COE teams on local legislation updates, and employee relations matters.Support the management of unions and WC relationship.Manage local vendor performance including SOW, and SLA establishment with our benefits vendors.Support HRBP and COE for any case escalation related to a specific business division.Build and maintain positive internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate the achievement of business goals.To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Bachelor's degree or relevant 3-5 work experience.Significant local experience in Employee Relations, Benefits, and Compliance matters.A natural ability to discern, organize, and convey complex problems and solutions.Thrive in an environment with an agenda for change, growth, and innovation.Student of simplification and making complex processes appear simple to the end user.Gifted at executing corporate strategies into locally relevant applications.Passionate about HR, and people, and curious about new HR trends.We value the power of an inclusive culture and also a strong sense of belonging.
