Make it your story.This position reports to:HR Operations Team LeadYour role and responsibilities:In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing within the organization.
Each day, your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining employee records, calculating wages, processing payroll deductions, issuing payments, and handling post-payroll activities such as tax reporting and benefits contributions (IMSS, ISN, Fonacot, Severance payments, audits, etc.
).Payroll process and post-payroll activities (IMSS, ISN, Fonacot, Severance payments, audits, etc.
).Maintaining and updating employee records including personal details, job titles, salary information, and tax withholdings.Calculating employee wages, including gross pay, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.Accurately calculating and deducting federal, state, and local taxes, social security, Medicare, retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, and other deductions.Managing the company's contributions to IMSS for social security benefits, ensuring accurate calculation and timely submission.Calculating and remitting state payroll taxes based on total employee compensation, ensuring compliance with varying state tax rates and regulations.Administering employer contributions to Fonacot, facilitating employee access to housing loans and benefits.Processing severance payments in accordance with local labor laws and company policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Conducting internal audits and preparing for external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
