Make it your story.This position reports to:HR Operations Team LeadYour role and responsibilities:In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage all aspects of payroll processing within the organization. Each day, you will perform key responsibilities including maintaining employee records, calculating wages, processing payroll deductions, issuing payments, and handling post-payroll activities such as tax reporting and benefits contributions (IMSS, ISN, Fonacot, Severance payments, audits, etc.). The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the HR Operational Services division in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P. You will be mainly accountable for:Payroll process and post-payroll activities (IMSS, ISN, Fonacot, Severance payments, audits, etc.)Maintain and update employee records including personal details, job titles, salary information, and tax withholdingsCalculate employee wages, including gross pay, overtime, bonuses, and commissions.Accurately calculate and deduct federal, state, and local taxes, social security, Medicare, retirement plan contributions, health insurance premiums, and other deductions.Manage the company's contributions to IMSS for social security benefits. Ensure accurate calculation and timely submission of contributions.Calculate and remit state payroll taxes based on total employee compensation. Ensure compliance with varying state tax rates and regulations.Administer employer contributions to Fonacot, facilitating employee access to housing loans and benefits.Process severance payments in accordance with local labor laws and company policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Conduct internal audits and prepare for external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations. Address any discrepancies or issues identified during audits.Qualifications for the role:You are highly skilled in proven experience in payroll processing and management, preferably from 3 to 5 years of professional experience.Ability to demonstrate your experience in payroll regulations, including IMSS, ISN, and Fonacot.You are passionate about analytic and continuous improvement processes, organized, and detail-oriented.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting.You are at ease communicating in English (Advanced level).Have established skills in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel) management
