**Job Description**:
Purpose:
The HR Specialist is a non-supervisory, individual contributor role responsible for working in a team environment to provide global HR systems support. The Specialist will work with internal business partners, HR/IT technical team members and external vendor partners to enhance the HR systems and fix issues. Specifically, this role will perform analysis, technical design with production and project support. Role holder must be able to analyse issues, identify failures and provide break-fixes related to existing Workday data and processes. Also, perform impact analysis and execute semi-annual Workday software updates.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support Global HR System's strategic initiatives to roll-out predictive analytics, interactive business dashboards, and ESS/MSS and HR reporting.
- Provide ongoing support for inbound Workday integrations (EIBs) requests.
- Ensure that internal HR technological processes comply with Security and Risk Management Team policies and applicable laws and regulations for privacy and data security such as GDPR.
- Execute recommended Workday system design & configuration, monitor testing processes and ensure solution stability and functionality in production environment.
- Structure and develop test plans (e.g. test objectives, test cases, test data and test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system and/or acceptance testing in order to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
- Coordinate implementation of necessary business changes/additions to HR systems after testing is complete in order to ensure successful solution delivery while adhering to segregation of duties policy at all times.
- Comply with and help to enforce standard policies and data security procedures (including segregation of duties) for all HR system configuration changes.
- Drive data integrity between systems and respond to audits and controls that capture data errors.
- Create and/or maintain appropriate documentation for design and technical solutions developed.
- Actively participate in Workday Community to identify any potential issues for HR/Payroll implementation as well as identify any new solutions to existing issues or processes.
- Assist with the completion of projects, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress and accuracy of work and evaluating results.
- Responsible for data integrity and quality assurance of all data.
- Participate in our 24X7 global coverage plan.
**Qualifications**:
- Completed Degree, preferably in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Tactical experience in technical development, implementation, upgrade and testing activities within an HRIS environment, preferably within cloud technology.
Skills and Knowledge
- Knowledge of Change Management, Project Management phases. Skill set in writing/building Standard Operating Procedures and UAT test scenarios based on system configuration changes for both positive and negative testing.
