Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a HR Supervisor.
**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**:
A. Driving strategic direction of the business and ensuring achievement of operating and production objectives consistent with Eaton's Policies.
B. Plan, organize, direct and control all activities and functions of the human resources department and support other departments in this perspective.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:
A. Implement and administer policies and procedures consistent with Corporate and Plant guidelines to ensure consistent and fair administration.
B. Assist in the preparation of Contract negotiations with the Local Union. Administers the grievance and disciplinary process, interprets contract language and advises on day-to-day matters related to wages, benefits and working conditions to maintain a consistent, fair and equitable treatment of employees and competitive stature in the market place.
C. Coordinate or assist in documentation gathering and represent the company position in Labor Relations proceedings associated with contract administration and employment practices.
D. Assist in the areas of salary and compensation planning and administration.
E. Assists in the preparation of corporate and/or government required reports relating to employment date and employment practices. Assist in corporate or plant sponsored HR and other special projects and initiative, including but not limited to Talent review, Talent Hub and EBS.
F. Strengthens employee retention and engagement through establishing the standard on-boarding and orientation processes with integrated efforts from various functions.
G. Administers annual employee survey cycle to ensure smooth implementation. Supports Corporate functions during action planning phase post survey through effective feedback sessions.
I. Promotes the company's mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and values as well as quality policies.
J. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.
K. Coordinate all the activities of the payroll area as well as perform regular audits to ensure the compliance of internal payroll policies, meet legal requirements and ensure correct payment to employees.
M. Ensure data accuracy between HR Systems (HRMS - Tress).
N. Manage ECJV, SWISS and Other Legal entities labor related documentation such as direct and seconded agreements, profit share documentation, etc.
O. Budget management.
P. Coordinate activities related to personnel services as: Cafeteria and transportation achieving employee high satisfaction and engagement.
**Qualifications**:
A. College degree in administration, business, psychology or similar.
B. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing required
C. 5 - 10 years experience in HR area.
D. Processes business acumen and in a trusted business partner.
E. Ability effectivively manage multiple projects, relationships and leverage diversity
F. Broad knowledge in compensation.
G. Strong experience in negotiations with unions.
H. Broad knowledge in labor law and payroll process.
I. Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.
J. Strong leadership skills, must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.
