This role will also perform reconciliations, audit reports for HRSS and US Payroll as needed and provide Workday reports for other departments. The HRSS & Payroll Administrator will be on a hybrid schedule (three days working from home and two days reporting to the plant.What You Will Do- Reviews the HR Connect issues for HRSS and US Payroll by answering questions about payroll or re-directing messages to the appropriate Payroll Administrator as required in a timely fashion.- Creates and updates the HRC spreadsheet daily.- Processes and maintains payroll information as required with an outsourced payroll environment using Workday software.- Responsible for payroll audits and analysis including but not limited to:- Bank Rejections- Missing Direct Deposit Payment Elections- EIB Loads- Assign Work Schedules- Time Blocks and Absences- Pay Group and Company Assignments- Communicates effectively and builds strong relationships with other departments, demonstrates critical thinking to take the appropriate risk, makes sound and timely decisions, and can handle multiple projects.What You Need- At least two years of experience in HR or Payroll.- 85-90% English (spoken, written, read).- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Team player with proven customer service skills.- Must be organized, detailed oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.- Ability to effectively manage confidential information and work independently as necessary.- Excellent attitude that promotes continuous improvement.- Ability to learn remotely.What is Nice to Have- International payroll experience a plus.- Quality assurance experience (problem-solving, reviewing and upgrading existing procedures, KPI knowledge, etc.).- Bachelor's degree in a related field.What Makes You Eligible- Be willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.- Be willing to work on-site and from home while providing excellent results.- Completed a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.- While employed, should pass the random drug test.HARMAN is an Equal Opportunity /Affirmative Action employer.
