.Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineers are part of Ford Motor Company's North American Engineering organization and are co-located in the Vehicle Assembly Plant with the vehicle production team. The PVT Engineer is the 'first line of defense' regarding Functional system quality for the products produced at the assembly plant. The PVT Engineer has several responsibilities associated with analyzing and fixing quality issues on components shipped into the assembly plant, and processes within the Vehicle Assembly Plant and integrated remote build centers. PVT R&R are embedded in the following Ford processes and procedures; FAP03-005 Current ModelConcern Prioritization & Resolution, FAP07-004 Corrective and Preventive Actions, FAP02-053 Variability Reduction Team Procedure, FAP03-109 Concern Reporting, Part Modification, and Product Changes (pertaining to SREAs), FAP03-134 Vehicle Stop Ship or Vehicle Stop Build for Quality Reasons, and GQIP Global Quality Improvement Process.1. Bachelor in engineering.2. Experience in PD/Quality/Program/Manufacturing desirable3. Six Sigma Black Belt trained desirable4. Excellent teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills.5. PCA lead will be D&R for Design, STA for Supplier Quality and VRT for plant-related issues (FAP02-053 7.1.7.2)- **Lead **GSAR Warranty binning and analysis (contact dealers, interface w FCSD), part return reviews (FAP02-053 7.1.7.2)- **Assist **QNPS/GQRS and JDP binning when requested. Design Assurance VFG Leaders led binning since 20MY (FAP02-053 7.1.7.2)- **Lead **BSAQ Glidepaths for QNPS- Design Assurance VFG Leaders communication and coordination with Plant/Others, author projects, manage implementation, calculate impact, manage TGW glide path forecast. (FAP02-053 7.1.5, FAP03-005 and FAP07-004)- Supplier **support**:- timing plans, PPAP review, robustness actions both for Ford and to help reduce QRs.
