GENERAL DESCRIPTIONThe Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator is responsible for developing and/or implementing BRP Mexico's Safety, Health and Environment Management System, as well as maintaining compliance with Mexican legislation on the matter. He/she is the promoter of compliance with BRP's Corporate Safety, Health and Environment Policy.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONProfessional Degree in Chemical-Biological and/or Environmental Engineering+7 years of experience in EHS.Experience implementing and managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001Bilingual English/SpanishMaster's Degree in Safety, Health and EnvironmentExperience in NPD & NEIKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSExpert in Mexican Legislation on Environmental Protection, Health and Industrial SafetyVerifiable knowledge in matters of Safety, Health and Environment AuditsManagement of Hazardous MaterialsComputer packages Word, Excel, Power Point.Google tools (drive, site, dashboards, etc.)ENABLON ManagementProject ManagementPreventive Risk Identification and Mitigation ProgramsEnvironmental and Safety Management Systems (ISO 14001, 45001, etc.)MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures legal compliance with everything related to health, safety and the environment before the different government agencies.Develops, implements and monitors health, safety and environmental programs and procedures.Prepares plans and strategies to reduce work risks.Prepares monthly and quarterly reports to the BRP corporate Health, Safety and Environment (EHS) office.Manages occupational hazards and environmental aspects from their identification, evaluation and mitigation in conjunction with the areas involved.Manages and ensures compliance with safety programs (SMR, LOTO, LSR, Risk Assessment, Safety observations, Top 3 risk, etc.).Manages the EHS department budget ensuring its accuracy.Prepares the diagnosis of health and safety at work.Prepares all applicable studies, analyses, laboratories, etc., notifying the results to those involved, ensuring that they remain current and within parameters.Ensures that the legal compliance training matrix is carried out.Develops, ensures and maintains a surveillance program so that external contractors who carry out electrical installation work comply with safety measures and dangerous work such as cutting, welding and work at heights.Coordinates compliance with the Safety and Hygiene Commission and compliance with the annual verification program, monitors actions, as well as investigations into the causes of Work Risks.Coordinates the ergonomics committee as well as its implementation on site together with the medical department.#J-18808-Ljbffr
