We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Querétaro office.ResponsibilitiesEHS Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures specifically tailored for nursery operations within the logistics environment.Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding environmental health and safety.Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits of nursery operations and logistics processes to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Training and Awareness: Provide EHS training and resources for employees, focusing on nursery best practices and logistics safety protocols.Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, documenting findings and developing strategies to prevent recurrence.Reporting: Prepare and submit EHS reports to management and regulatory agencies as required, maintaining accurate records of incidents and safety audits.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.G., logistics, operations, and HR) to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.Emergency Response Planning: Develop and maintain emergency response plans related to nursery activities and logistics operations.Sustainability Initiatives: Implement and promote sustainability practices within nursery logistics, focusing on waste reduction and resource conservation.Minimum RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles, with a focus on nursery operations and logistics.Knowledge: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices in the logistics sector, particularly in nursery management.Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.G., NEBOSH, ISO 14001) are a plus.Language Skills: Proficiency in Spanish and English.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and engage employees effectively.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build positive working relationships
