Hse Engineer I

Join an organization that demonstrates a proactive health and safety management system, combined a continuous improvement environment. You will a key professional in the Health Safety Environment & Facilities (HSE&F) function. You will drive key activities and HSE&F performance metrics for the (insert site support). You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the employees. You will report directly to the (Insert site leader or functional manager as applicable). You will be a key HSE&F resources with the (indicate site support) directing sustainable health and safety programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in health and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage strategic portfolio
- Optimize remedial action outcome
- Liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
- Develop and sustain operating standards
- Support due diligence for mergers and acquisitions
- Manage third party project managers
- Champion Remediation
- Management System
- Fulfill Process Area Leader Function
- Champion information management and process excellence

**WE VALUE**:

- Significant experience in design and construction management
- Familiarity with design and construction safety practices
- Familiarity with Environmental remediation practices
- Exposure to RCRA, CERCLA site remediation
- Familiarity with key performance systems
- Familiarity with Earned Values Analysis (EVA)
- Ability to track and report design and construction progress
- Demonstrate effective ability to work with diverse groups
- Project Management Professional or Professional Engineer
