Specific responsibilities include hiring; employee/labor relations issues and investigations, wage and salary administration, training and development, affirmative action compliance, worker's compensation and safety, and the implementation of policies and programs as directed by the corporate offices.What will I be doing?The Human Resources Assistant Director directs and ensures the efficient administration and management of the Human Resources function to include recruiting, training, wage/benefit administration, compliance with statutory requirements, and execution of employee relation activities. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:Ensure Affirmative Action Plan compliance by training management on the hotel's goals and interview and selection methods.Lead the hotel's quality program, analyzing reports to determine areas for continuous improvement.Manage employee relations programs, coordinate events, and implement new programs as necessary.Supervise the day-to-day HR Department operation and communicate HR processes to staff.Counsel and/or discipline employees as needed, following established guidelines.Oversee the HRIS System functions.Respond to and negotiate unemployment claims on behalf of the hotel.Supervise staff regarding worker's compensation issues.Assist in preparing periodic HR reports through the use of a computer system.What are we looking for?A Human Resources Assistant Director serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and with other Team Members.
