HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST - PN facility
JOB SUMMARY: Assists in the administration of all Human Resources programs, policies and other various office duties.
Independently performs multiple tasks involving a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
REPORTS TO: Human Resources Supervisor
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepares Change Form for corporate to processes all changes for E1 (new hires, terminations, reviews, etc.).
*Processes and maintains all Kronos Time and Attendance Changes, E1 Supplemental Data, and E1 Address book changes.
*Coordinates and assures that accurate employee data is being provided to the corporate accounting department for payroll processing.
*Prepares personnel files and documents.
*Conducts training and orientation programs for employees.
*Administers employee leaves for disability.
*Provide confidential administrative and clerical support for Human Resources department.
*Assist employees and applicants in completing forms and answering questions for various programs and policies.
*Enter pay increases for office and factory employees.
*Maintain new hire, termination and transfer reports.
*Prepare new employee files and necessary materials.
*Complete data entry of personnel information in Company computer system.
*Maintain and assist employees with tuition reimbursement.
*Assists in compiling information for employee news posting.
*Under direction perform, as required, assignments in the areas of wage and salary administration, employee benefits, organization studies, employment activities, plant safety, security and special projects.
*Perform basic clerical duties including phones, typing, filing and maintaining office supplies.
*Assist manufacturing supervisors with routine questions and type all warnings needed.
*Performs other duties as assigned.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
*Associated degree in business or equivalent experience.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office products; ability to operate standard office equipment such as a copier, calculator, and personal computer.
*Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
*Necessary clerical skills including typing, filing and speedwriting.
*One to three years of human resources generalist experience.
*Bilingual (English and Spanish)
*Ample knowledge of Federal Labor and Social Security Law.
*Exhibits highest level of professionalism and management of confidential information.
