As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for staffing/recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits, salary administration, HRIS maintenance, employee relations, business partnership, performance management, recordkeeping and training for LATAM North - a group of AMMEGA companies in Mexico. Provide hands-on day-to-day support of all human resources functions. Partners with stakeholders to solve organizational and people issues. Acts with leadership courage and strong understanding of strategy to respectfully challenge perspectives of others when appropriate, and drive innovative, long-term thinking. You will report to HR Manager - LATAM North and be part of the LATAM HR team. In this role, you will be based in AMMEGA's, Scout Belting facility in Guadalajara, Mexico.
A day in the life of a Human Resources Generalist can look like
- Supporting safety culture and work closely with local team to ensure compliance and zero-harm environment
- Overseeing staffing and recruiting process, ensuring positive and efficient experience to meet business needs, working collaboratively with LATAM North HR team
- Drafting and communicating key messages to employees and is a company ambassador
- Leading and coordinating new employee onboarding and maintaining training records and offboarding and exit interviews
- Completing compensation and market surveys and ad-hoc reporting as required
- Supporting employee investigations related to code of conduct
- Arranging training, development and teambuilding, and support talent review and management process
- Supporting, coaching, advising and facilitating managers in the field of performance management
- Tracking turnover, absenteeism and labor legal issues
- Processing Payroll and working closely with the Finance team to have all correct data in the payroll and HR systems
- Administering employee organizational health survey and collaborating on action plan while driving AMMEGA culture and values
We are looking for you to have
- Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent preferred
- English/Spanish bilingual required with excellent communication, project management and organizational skills
- Minimum 3 years in HR Generalist role in manufacturing
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix organization
- Excellent computer and analytical skills - MS Word, Excel, PPT, Teams
- Prior experience with HRIS and report writing
- Able to work in Mexico and possible travel up to 10%
- Certified HR professional preferred
