HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST - PN facilityJOB SUMMARY: The HR Generalist provides administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs as well as support for the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: payroll, employment, benefits, safety, and training.REPORTS TO: Vice President of Administration / Corporate Services and a dotted line to the Plant Manager.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:*Prepares Change Form for corporate to processes all changes for E1 (new hires, terminations, reviews, etc.).*Processes and maintains all Kronos Time and Attendance Changes, E1 Supplemental Data, and E1 Address book changes.*Coordinates and assures that accurate employee data is being provided to the corporate accounting department for payroll processing.*Responsible for the hiring of all manufacturing personnel.*Prepares and manages personnel files and documents.*Responsible for new hire reporting for the facility.*Coordinates and updates files corresponding to training activities carried out in and out of the Company.*Conducts training and orientation programs for employees.*Assists in processing benefit deduction changes.*Supervisor of Company Nurse.*Administers employee leaves for disability.*Prepares and sends out yearly performance reviews and job descriptions to managers, compiles a list of late reviews, and assists in keeping job descriptions up to date.*Processes Holiday Pay.*Administers final pay for terminated employees.*Compiles employment totals, demographics, absence and turnover charts.*Handles the administration of safety programs including safety meetings, and conducting safety training, etc.*Handles the administration of employee work injuries, accident investigations, and accident prevention programs, preparation of reports and record keeping, return to work programs and injury and illness statistics.*Assist manufacturing supervisors with routine questions and prepares disciplinary warnings needed.*Coordinates the cafeteria and food service operations.*Answers phones*Will perform other duties as assigned.**REQUIREMENTS**:*B.S. Degree in related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.*One to three years of human resources generalist experience.*Bilingual (English and Spanish)*Ample knowledge of Federal Labor and Social Security Law.*Exhibits highest level of professionalism and management of confidential information.
