**Job Description**:
**ABOUT YOUR ROLE**

The HR Manager AD Smartrac Queretaro will be responsible in the HR field for the startup operation of a new state of the art manufacturing facility.
You will lead the development and implementation of people strategies for the Queretaro Site.
You will provide HR business partnership to the Site leadership and the Plant Manager in Querétaro Site and provide You will manage the HR organization in the site with around 10 employees.
You provide guidance and consultative support to business leaders and promote an empowered and engaged workforce including building strategies for the local team to attract & select talent, deliver training; ensuring compliance; interpreting policies and procedures; proactive coaching and counseling of managers and employees, and coaching for performance improvement.
In addition, you will act as a change leader for developing and implementing new HR and business initiatives that support the talent needs of the business.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**:

- Develop with the HR Director the strategy of the startup operations in Queretaro Mexico for the new manufacturing Site of the company.
- Defines and executes the sourcing strategy to attract and retain a crew of more than 200 employees for the first year from Operative to Management roles.
- Co-responsible with Operations to do the technical training in
- Defines, recommends and implements employee communication strategies, plans, policies, and guidelines in accordance with the company's business objectives, in order to sustain the company's culture and values
- Facilitate future-focused HR initiatives aligned with the strategic agenda of the business
- Support the Plant Manager & Plant Leadership Team to provide employees with development opportunities and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards;
- Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives;
- Improves HR effectiveness and customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement activities
- Contribute to the business strategy by helping business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
- Support the leadership in the business and the employees in making sure performance management is properly administered.
Provide guidance and coaching to employees and managers in the performance management process.
- Plan, manage and lead organizational change processes to improve effectiveness.
- Provide leadership to AD Smartrac Country/Global human resources initiatives.
- Be a steward of DE&I in the site and promote activities and actions to improve our overall DE&I in the company
- Accountable for positive industrial relations and employee relations in the site.
- Facilitates Talent Review and Succession Planning Process with leadership team.
- Facilitates training on employee development, coaching, and other management and leadership topics.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource policies.
- Promote effective communications and employee relations.
- Provide coaching and development to assist the HR team in reaching their individual and business goals.
- Act as a team role model and change agent.
- Coordinate team efforts, and manage a HR Site strategy and team operating plan.
- Encourage the HR team to adopt a data-driven approach
- Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values.
**Qualifications**:
**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- Major in Human Resources, Business or related field (preferred).
- Over 6 years of work experience in HR-related functions.
- More than 3 years as Human Resources Manager leading a whole site for a large Manufacturing Site.
- Preferred Experience in Large Startups (greenfield) or expansions.
- Experience in massive recruitment processes.
- Experience in providing HR support in a matrix organization
- Local knowledge of employee /labor relations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management;
- People-oriented and good internal customer-focused mindset;
- Good command of oral and written English;
- Able to influence and resolve controversial, high-impact human resources issues;
- Willingness to take on what needs to be done, strong urgency sense, innovative problem-solver;
- Strong project management skills;
- Strict confidentiality and integrity;
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating, planning, and deploying HR programs and initiatives;
- Practical knowledge of standard computer software and an interest in technology and data
