This position will responsible for all human resource functions at the Motion Systems Division (MSD) site in Matamoros, Mexico. Responsibilities include talent and performance management, employee relations, regulatory compliance, Union negotiations and activities, all recruiting, payroll and benefits administration, and leadership of training programs as well as other general HR responsibilities. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, the HR Manager will attract the best talent to MSD while promoting a diverse work force. The HR Manager assures that the company is complying with local legislation and Mexico labor regulations and will provide guidance to both the leadership and employees at the Matamoros, Mexico manufacturing facility. This includes continuously improving MSD site policies and procedures as required**Responsibilities**:Provide leadership in the design and execution of workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, required regulatory procedures and targeted strategic initiatives.Specific responsibilities include:- Provision of services to the Senior Leadership Team, as well as site managers and supervisors in coordinating all activities related to staffing, employee relations and building organizational capability.- Assure compliance with all local legislation and Mexico labor regulations.- Participation in internal and external investigations/audits, supply necessary documentation and perform necessary follow-up to ensure meeting of deadlines.- Recruit hourly, salaried, and professional personnel with appropriate skills in accordance with applicable local legislation and our internal guidelines.- Develop and deliver HR-related training, such as behavioral interviewing and performance management.- Support New Employee Orientation process with HR training, policies and procedures, and new hire on-boarding requirements.- Liaison with HR team members at other company sites.- Support site and Corporate strategic HR initiatives.- Other duties, as defined by Human Resources team to meet business needs.Qualifications:- A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a high technology manufacturing environment.- Extensive working knowledge of Mexican labor laws.- Experience working with Mexico labor union
