Responsibilities:Direct a variety of human resource-related programs to ensure that the organization's current and future human resource requirements are met and that employees are recruited, managed, organized, trained, evaluated and rewarded in accordance with organization's human resource strategy.These programs may include: recruitment; training and development; compensation/remuneration; benefits; performance evaluation; organizational development; relocation; equal employment/affirmative action; health, safety and employee wellness; human resources administration; human resource information systems; payroll; employee communications; employment/industrial/labor relations.Liaise with functional or operational area managers to develop and implement local human resource strategies that are appropriate for their business needs, but consistent with the organization's overall human resource strategy.Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the organization's human resource strategy and adapt existing current human resource programs to meet these needs.Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of human resource professionals to ensure that the organization's human resource strategy is implemented effectively and within established budgets and that the organization complies with all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards.Additional Responsibilities:Keep absenteeism and turnover levels aligned with the business strategy.Keep the costs associated with the workforce aligned with the business needs.Establish a strategy that promotes a good working environment in order to avoid internal conflicts and the involvement of the union.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.7+ years of diverse professional experience in several areas of HR which may include 3+ years previous lead or supervisory responsibilities.High Impact Behaviors:Strategic Decision MakingEffective CommunicationFostering Team GrowthAdditional Qualifications:Strong knowledge and understanding of HR laws, regulations, and requirements.Experience with HRIS system and Microsoft 365.Planning and SchedulingBudgetingResource AllocationEnd-to-end Project ManagementJoin the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
