Ensures that Human Resources objectives are aligned with business strategic goals through effective employee relations, compensation, staffing, training, organizational development, safety, and change management strategies. Fosters employee involvement at all levels.Responsibilities:Along with the Site Management Teams, develop and facilitate strategic short and long-term goals for assigned locations as they relate to the employment function (i.E. recruiting, screening, coordination of staffing plans, promotions, training, succession planning, and positive counseling) and profitability.Help facilitate positive employee relations, plant-wide effective communications, and internal management consultation.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all Mexican federal, state, and local agencies regulations.Effectively support and foster the company's Open Door Policy.Responsible for administering policies, procedures, regulations, and contracts.Effectively and proactively manage the requirements and functions related to the Affirmative Action Plan for assigned location.Effectively manage local workers' compensation issues, unemployment claims, and training programs in accordance with company and local legal guidelines.Effectively manage and maintain a high level of performance with all social compliance audit requirements and other similar client audits ensuring the site maintains its compliance status at all times.Perform all other related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience that must include a minimum of 5 years of work experience within the Human Resource field and a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably within Human Resources.Must have 6+ years of experience working in a Maquiladora/border industry environment.Current knowledge of all Mexican federal, state, and local regulations as it pertains to HR.Effectively leads and mentors assigned team members as well as local supervisors/managers on elements of effective Human Resources and effective employee management
