You will work with our talented multi-national teams and have opportunities to participate in onsites in both the US and Mexico.The RoleThe HR Manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the People & Culture function of our new Mexico City operations, with an initial heavy focus on talent acquisition to help us grow our team. As the first HR presence in this location, you will partner with the local site leader to play a key role in establishing SimplePractice as an employer of choice in Mexico City with a thriving culture. You will also be responsible for developing HR processes, policies, and initiatives that align with both local labor laws and the company's global standards. This role will collaborate with the U.S. HR team to support talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and overall people development.ResponsibilitiesHR Operations: Set up and manage the HR function for the Mexico City office, including payroll, benefits administration, and compliance with Mexican labor lawsTalent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers and the U.S. Talent acquisition team to identify and recruit top talent. Provide guidance to the local recruiting team. Initially, Talent acquisition will account for up to 50-75% of the job as we look to grow and scale our local teamLearning and Development: Support employee training and professional development initiatives. Assist in identifying development needs and opportunities for the teamEstablishment of "High Potential Entry Level" (HPEL) program: Serve as a key contributor and stakeholder for the building out and implementation of a local HPEL program, that will seek to identify, hire, and nurture high potential, entry level talentEmployee Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries and resolving any workplace issues or conflicts
