Human Resources Manager

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources operations within the plant, ensuring alignment with company Mission, Vision and Values, global standards, policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
This role serves as a strategic partner to plant lead and global organization in driving team member engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.

Plant Manager

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, accredited HR Certificate and /or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with unionized workforce management, including negotiations, grievance handling, and labor relations, is essential.
Language
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Additional languages are a plus.
**Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with HRIS systems, Dayforce preferred.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
Alignment with the KSR MVV.
- Thorough understanding of Mexican employment laws and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in HRIS system administration and data analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a global cross-functional team environment.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in investigation and documentation
- Organized and Execution of goals with high quality for sustainable results
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals

Training Requirements
- Continued professional development in human resources management and labor relations to stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements

Job Responsibilities
- Lead proactive HSE&E global standards.
- Work with Global HR Managers to develop, update, and implement People Leadership global standards and initiatives aligned with KSR strategic plan and x-matrix.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes, including workforce planning, job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Oversee team member relations activities, including performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure the integrity of documentation and records, including employment agreements, termination agreements, and similar documents, to support decisions and actions.
- Lead collective bargaining negotiations, including contract preparation, proposal development, and strategy formulation.
- Administer union contracts, ensuring compliance with negotiated terms and conditions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for union representatives, addressing grievances, disputes, and other labor-related issues.
- Conduct investigations into alleged violations of labor agreements and company policies, recommending appropriate actions as necessary.
- Monitor and analyze labor market trends, union activities, and legislative changes affecting labor relations, providing recommendations for proactive management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentive plans, and employee wellness initiatives, in accordance with Mexico's regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate, plan, and track training and development programs to enhance team members' skills and competencies for your location.
- Manage HRIS system data integrity and generate reports for management review.
- Provide guidance and support to subordinate HR staff, fostering their professional development and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address organizational needs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the HR department in meetings with plant management, providing updates on HR-related matters and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.
**Authority**: The HR Manager has the authority to make decisions and take actions within the scope of HR global standards and procedures, in consultation with the Plant Lead and in alignment with the overall strategic plan.
This includes but is not limited to negotiating and implementing union contracts, resolving labor disputes, and recommending disciplinary actions in accordance with established standards and regulations in Mexico.
