Assist the Finance Director in the proper functioning and efficiency of the Accounting department.Management Responsibilities:Ensure that the Department's activities are aligned with the Corporate Finance Strategy, and that Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.Assist in the preparation and updating of departmental operations manuals for information systems and finance.Ensure that the hotel complies with all Company / Hotel Finance Policies and Procedures.Ensure that tax and employee legislations stipulated by the government are strictly followed and implemented.Conduct regular departmental communication meetings.Maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all pertinent financial records.Assist in reviewing all daily mail for the Accounting Department, including all incoming and outgoing accounts receivable correspondences.Be responsible for ensuring that all corporate, regional, hotel and governmental reports are compiled accurately and submitted in a timely manner.Monitor and ensure that hotel licenses are renewed on a timely basis.Administer and renew insurance policies.Primary Location: MX-BCS-Cabo San LucasOrganization: Park Hyatt Los Cabos Hotel & ResidencesJob Level: Assistant DirectorJob: Accounting/Finance/TaxWorldwide/Local Candidates: LocalMinimum Requirements:2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.Advanced English.Bachelor's degree.Experience in luxury hotels.Strong communication and presentation skills.Leadership ability and behavior consistent with our core values.
