.Reports to the Manager of the Construction department and PM of the assigned project.- Responsible for supervising and managing program compliance with safety, quality, procedures, standards and specifications applicable to the contract for the development of the contractor's construction activities.- Ensure that all project reporting, planning and documentation requirements are met by the contractor.- Review and compliance with the engineering issued by the contractor, to validate that the engineering is complying with the typical installation drawings, specifications, and standards applicable to the project. Issuance of comments and marks in red on plans.- Responsible for monitoring the compliance dates of the main ITOS, supply of equipment and construction materials on established dates.- Responsible for detecting factors that could jeopardize compliance with the program and provide solution alternatives to the project CM´s.- Preparation of Informative Notes (NI's) and Non-Conformity Reports (NCR's) for non-compliance with safety, quality programs and procedures issued by the contractor and non-compliance with standards and specifications applicable to the contract.- Preparation of lists of pending works as well as their follow-up for closure.- Monitoring of project closure, drawing review As-built and Quality Dossier. (physical and digital).- Participation in safety meetings and weekly work progress with the work team.- Verify traceability between equipment and instruments VS Data Sheet, plans and drawings issued for the project.- Compliance with certificates and validity of standard equipment "Equipo Patron" used in the project (certified by EMA).- Preparation of daily progress reports including photographs.- Interpretation of installation plans for cabinets and equipment, wiring, connections and single-unifilar diagrams.- Participate in daily on-site meetings to address: - Job safety - Hazard identification issues - Environmental concerns - Assignment of inspector(s) - Contractor daily kick-off meetings - Ad-hoc discussions with Contractor foreman/team to discuss and clarify.Minimum qualifications- Electrical/Electronic Engineer.- Minimum 5 years of experience in supervision / Inspection of Electrical Works and Instrumentation in the Oli & Gas sector.- Knowledge of the English language 50%. (spoken and written)- Management of Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)- Project software Management.- Availability to travel within the country (Mexico).Preferred qualifications- Indispensable knowledge NOM-001-SEDE- Desirable knowledge of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).- Desirable knowledge of the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 70.- Desirable knowledge of the American National Standards Institute/Institute of Electrical &- Electronic Engineers (ANSI/IEEE)
