**Position Overview**:
Conduct research in English and Spanish, using various publicly available online open sources and subscription sources in support of investigative and intelligence cases undertaken for our clients. This position will report directly to an Operations Project Manager within the Investigative Analysis Group (IAG).
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Conduct research using various publicly available online open sources, proprietary databases, subscription sources, and search tools in support of various investigative and intelligence cases undertaken for our clients, including Open Source Investigations (OSI) and in support of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) investigations, as well as various intelligence reports and other investigations which may be assigned.
- Conduct analysis on information identified with respect to the type of report to which it applies to include regulatory compliance, investigative analysis, risk assessments, and other specific analysis which may be tasked.
- Compile, fact check, and edit reports into a written document using various report templates, and as directed by Operations supervisors and/or management personnel.
- Assist supervisor with final review and uploads of due diligence reports. Telephonic Inquiries: Conduct limited telephone inquiries such as reference checks or other telephone inquiries which may be necessary in support of our investigations or operations.
- Mentor new and existing Analysts and Editors. Mentoring involves reviewing and editing any cases assigned to a new or existing Analyst or Editor. Provide constructive feedback to new or existing Analysts on their research, analysis, and written reports; you will also provide constructive feedback to new or existing Editors on their compiled and edited reports. You will be responsible for turning in the completed report on the entity or principal, which means you will conduct your own separate research and analysis and compile a final report.
**Required Experience/Skills**:
- Experience conducting research regarding Anti-Bribery Anti-Corruption (ABAC), Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money-Laundering (AML). Background in journalism, legal services and research.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent international degree required.
- 0-3 years experience required.
