As IB / OB Area Manager or Delivery Shift Manager, you will be in charge of part of the operation of our work centers during an assigned shift. These operations involve the management of human, technological, and physical resources to ensure the correct execution of the daily operation plan aligned with results.
Responsibilities:You will be part of the Amazon Operations Team, responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers.Leading a direct/indirect team to ensure that you have a safe workplace, properly trained people, and that their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs.Support and assign job duties to process assistants.Due to the nature of Amazon's business, being able to adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.Communicate policies to Associates and act as the primary information source for the team, maintaining compliance, consistency, and taking corrective action when needed.Create, manage, and support recognition and communication programs.Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.Key job responsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop a team of 20 to 50 Amazon Associates.Support all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all Associates.Ensure procedures are followed for building security and product loss prevention.Partner with the management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.Develop performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand and ensure accuracy and quality.Job ElementsMust be able to perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation:
