**_ OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE_**
The ICSS Governance & PMO Lead is responsible for overseeing the IT Governance framework and the Project Management Office (PMO) within the organization. This role ensures that IT projects align with the organization's strategic goals and are executed efficiently, adhering to established standards and procedures. The IT Governance & PMO Lead plays a pivotal role in managing project portfolios, ensuring compliance, and establishing best practices for project execution and IT governance
- Governance: Shaping and enhance the ICSS organization governance framework and ensuring the successful execution of IT projects, developing governance policies, project management standards, risk management, and performance monitoring.
- Project Management Office (PMO): Oversee the PMO, ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Oversee the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. Facilitate project governance meetings of Core Portfolio, including project reviews and steering committees
- Senior Stakeholder management, Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between IT, business units, and stakeholders. Ensure stakeholders are informed about project progress, risks, and issues. Provide training and support to ensure stakeholders understand and adhere to governance and transformation process.
- Strategic Alignment and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align GDD&T and ICSS key initiatives with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- ** Define a**nd manage **Global Governance Model**: Assist the ICSS Special Operations Transformation and Core Portfolio Lead to Develop and implement a comprehensive global governance model for ICSS that aligns with organizational objectives and business need.
- ** Integration with GDD&T**: Ensure seamless integration of the governance model with the GDD&T technology organization, facilitating effective collaboration and alignment between business and technology strategies.
- ** Stakeholder Management & Engagement**: Engage with key stakeholders across ICSS and GDD&T to understand their needs, gather input, and ensure the governance model supports business and technology objectives.
- ** Governance Framework Implementation**: Oversee the implementation of the governance framework, ensuring it is effectively communicated, adopted, and adhered to throughout the organization. Ensure all IT activities are compliant with external regulations and internal policies.
- ** Major **Project Management**:Oversee major IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Implement project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining governance processes and practices to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
- ** Performance Monitoring and Reporting**: Develop metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor the performance and effectiveness of the governance model, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining governance processes and practices to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
- ** Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate risks associated with governance practices, ensuring that the governance model supports the organization's risk management framework.
- ** Policy and Procedure Development**: Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards that promote effective governance practices, compliance, and risk management across ICSS and GDD&T and DD&T.

**Desired Qualifications**:
- Experience establishing and scaling Shared Service Centers
- Pharmaceutical Experience: Preferred for understanding industry nuances.
- Domain Expertise: Life Sciences or Social Sciences proficiency.
- In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks and standards.
