Introduction
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer/Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's identity management systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing IAM solutions, ensuring that access to critical resources is appropriately governed and that the identity lifecycle is efficiently managed.

Key Responsibilities:

- IAM Solutions Management: Manage and maintain the organization's IAM platforms, including IBM Security Verify Governance and other identity management tools like SailPoint or Micro Focus Identity Management.
- Access Control: Configure and manage access control systems, including Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP, to ensure secure and compliant identity access processes.
- System and Database Management: Administer and secure identity systems across Linux and Windows environments, as well as databases such as Oracle, SQL, or DBase.
- Identity Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of identity and access management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews, to ensure that users have appropriate access at all times.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all IAM practices comply with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, supporting audits and assessments as needed.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and support the migration of identity management services to cloud environments.
- Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and resolution of IAM-related security incidents, ensuring that any vulnerabilities are promptly addressed.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in identity management, continuously evaluating and recommending enhancements to IAM processes and tools.

This role requires a deep understanding of IAM principles and technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment to protect and manage the organization's identity and access infrastructure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in IBM Security Verify Governance and Identity Management
- Experience in Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP Knowledge
- Experience in Identity tools such as SailPoint, Micro Focus Identity Management or similar.
- Experience in handling Linux and Windows operating systems and Oracle, SQL or DBase databases.
- Authentication methods with OAuth, Kerberos, LDAP, etc.
- +5 years of experience in IAM, security or related field.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Identity and Access Management projects or administration
- Consulting delivery on Identity Technologies
