Micron Technology, Inc. is excited to announce the opening of a new location in Guadalajara, Mexico, and we are seeking an experienced and highly technical Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations Manager to help establish and lead our IAM operations at this new site. This is an outstanding opportunity to be instrumental in hiring and building a new team that will play a meaningful role in protecting Micron's intellectual property!
As the IAM Operations Manager, you will supervise two key operations teams:
- ** Identity Team**: Responsible for supporting Micron's global identity and account lifecycle, privileged access, federation, SSO, secrets management, directory services and other compliance-related activities.
- ** Access Management Team**: This team's focus is on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and entitlement policy administration, ensuring workers are assigned accurate roles and provisioned with appropriate access.
You and your team will work directly with Micron's global workforce as well as collaborate with partners across the Micron network to ensure identity & access solutions stay in compliance and align with our "zero trust" initiatives. You will also work closely with global security leaders to help drive team strategy, operational improvements, automation, and incorporate industry-leading practices to build a world-class operations team. This role will partner with a parallel team in India to provide continuous coverage for IAM operations. You should have a solid background in IAM, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively across different time zones.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the IAM operations team in Guadalajara, ensuring efficient and effective identity and access management services.
- Collaborate with the IAM team in India to provide seamless coverage and support.
- Develop and implement IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Lead the administration of IAM systems, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Administer and oversee authentication mechanisms such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and identity federation.
- Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents and requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Analyze successes, failures and roadblocks to improve and mature the program and team.
- Know the latest industry trends and advancements in IAM technologies and practices; provide recommendations on approach and capabilities.
***Qualifications & Skills**:
- Solid understanding of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with IAM tools, platforms and integrations (SailPoint preferred).
- Good understanding of systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, and other directory services.
- Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and entitlement policy administration.
- Excellent prioritization capabilities and a proven ability to implement broad plans with little guidance.
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, motivational and team management skills.
- Comfortable interacting and connecting with technical, non-technical and leadership teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to IAM, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOX.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus.
**Education and Experience**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IAM operations, with at least 5 years in a management role.
