About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our IAM team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding Micron's valuable data and systems.As an Identity Engineer in Micron's Identity and Access Management Team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IAM solutions to ensure that only authorized users have access to the organization's resources. This includes troubleshooting access issues, collaborating with business teams and other IT teams, identifying and implementing solutions for new and improved processes, and owning and driving root cause analysis for issues.You will also participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 support, analyze access data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risks, design and conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, develop necessary business processes, and maintain process documentation.ResponsibilitiesProvide Operations/Development support for Security related solutions and platformsTroubleshoot operational issues, escalations and resolve business partner issues in a timely manner with strong collaboration and care for business prioritiesCollaborate with business teams and other IT teams to ensure effectively manage identities and access privilegesIdentify, design and implement solutions for new and improved processes and provide a clear picture of possible outcomesOwn and drive root cause analysis for issuesOwn and support continue improvement plans for solution health and Operational healthParticipate in the on-call rotation for 24x7 supportAnalyze access data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risksDesign and conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulationsDevelop necessary business processes and actively maintain process documentationCollaborate with IAM platform development teams and security leadership to improve operations and implement industry best practicesRequirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in information security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications/professional experience. Related disciplines consideredMinimum of 3 years of experience in identity and access managementSolid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) conceptsHands-on experience with IAG platforms (SailPoint preferred)Hands-on experience with single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM)Integrate IAM solutions with existing IT infrastructureCreate and maintain policies and procedures for user authentication and authorizationEnsure compliance with security standards and regulationsManage user accounts throughout their lifecycle, including creating, modifying, and revoking accessMonitor access logs and security events to detect and respond to suspicious activitiesWork with system administrators, developers, and security teams to integrate IAM solutionsProvide support and training to end-users on IAM-related issuesAbout UsMicron is an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
