**Ignition Support Engineer (Ignition, Scada, MEXICO)**

**YOUR ROLE**
- Provide technical Support for SCADA systems on oil and gas operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Monitor systems performance and identify potential issues before they occur.
- Responsible of design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems.
- Ensure efficient and reliable operations of SCADA systems, monitoring real-time data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize process control and data management.
- Manage and provide data access/communication between field devices and SCADA system.
- Collaborate with the team to design and develop SCADA systems tailored to specific industrial process and requirements.
- Configure, program, and deploy SCADA software components including HMI´s, alarm windows and historians.
- Document system configurations and changes made to support system operations.
**YOUR PROFILE**
- Bachelor´s degree in computer science, mechatronics or related.
- Ignition Core Certification or Ignition Gold Certification is a plus, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (English).
- 3+ years of experience supporting Ignition SCADA systems.
- Experience and skills with Ignition Gateway Setup like OPC-UA and Devices connection to ignition, databases connection and figuration.
- Experience and skills with Ignition Designer creating and configuring windows, tags, alarms, scripts and UDT´s.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, Ethernet and VLAN´s.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
