**Job Profile**:
**Role**:
The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 framework within a chips manufacturing organization. The primary objective is to ensure that the company complies with international food safety standards and regulatory requirements while improving operational efficiency and ensuring product safety. This role is critical for maintaining the credibility and reputation of the chips manufacturing company by ensuring the production of safe, high-quality products
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Development and Implementation**:
- Plan, develop, and implement the FSSC 22000 food safety management system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FSSC 22000 requirements into existing operational processes.
- Conduct a gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current practices and FSSC 22000 requirements.
**Documentation**:
- Prepare, update, and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions, aligned with FSSC 22000 standards.
- Ensure proper documentation control and version updates.
**Training and Awareness**:
- Provide training to employees and management on food safety standards, FSSC 22000 requirements, and best practices.
- Develop awareness programs to promote a food safety culture within the organization.
**Auditing and Compliance**:
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with FSSC 22000 requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate external certification audits and ensure successful outcomes.
- Monitor compliance with national and international food safety regulations.
**Risk Management**:
- Identify and assess food safety hazards and risks specific to chips manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
**Continuous Improvement**:
- Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety and quality processes.
**Supplier Management**:
- Evaluate and audit suppliers to ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 standards.
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers to maintain consistent product quality.
- Reporting:
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on food safety performance, audit outcomes, and areas for improvement.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:
- Successful implementation and certification of FSSC 22000.
- Number of non-conformities identified and resolved during audits.
- Employee training completion rates and feedback.
- Reduction in food safety incidents or recalls.
- Timeliness in addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
**Desired Profile**:
**Educational Background**:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, or related field.
- Additional certifications in food safety or quality management (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
**Technical Skills**:
- In-depth knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP principles, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in conducting food safety risk assessments.
- Proficiency in documentation management and auditing processes.
- Familiarity with chips manufacturing processes, including raw material handling, production, and packaging.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and training.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Leadership and organizational skills to manage projects effectively.
**Experience**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food safety management, preferably in the snacks or chips manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of implementing FSSC 22000 or similar food safety standards.
- Experience in coordinating audits and achieving certification.

**Compensation**:
Net Salary around $1500 - $2500 + Food + Accommodation + Transport + Other Expat Benefits
