As an IMPORT ANALYST, you will lead, control and optimize foreign trade operations through the various mechanisms and programs in customs matters, complying in a timely manner with the importation of materials and other goods vital for the company.**Key Responsibilities**:- Understand the requirements and complete import documentation with incredible attention to detail to avoid corrections.- Efficiently of logistic expenses.- Ensure the accurate transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with current legislation.- Taking advantage of Foreign Trade schemes to acquire savings on imports (Treaties, programs, etc.).- Non-tariff regulations and restrictions, applicability of Nom's.- Approval of pediments.- Keep updated on International Trade issues and changes applicable to our organization.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in the area of commerce- Validated experience in imports, international trade, supply chain, logistics or related business role is required.- Up to date in Customs Law, import promotion and utilization programs.- Knowledge of import promotion programs and utilization schemes.- Proficient level of English.**ABOUT US**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way**Every single day at PPG:**We partner with customers to create mutual value.**We are insightful, dedicated and proactive.
