Import / Export Agent

We are looking for an Import Export Agent.General activities:Support the daily Northbound and Southbound operations, such as freight coordination and overseeing the process of crossing goods to the US.Coordinate, schedule, and manage reports on incoming shipments.Schedule and monitor purchase orders for the warehouse.Monitor warehouse load volume and aging to ensure effective work scheduling and completion. Reconcile daily to verify status and ensure complete visibility. Ensure prompt receipt of specific purchase orders.Act as the point of contact between carriers, scheduling, consolidation, expediting, and deceleration processes. Provide information on changes to delivery transit times and schedules. Change and adjust purchase order delivery dates as needed.Resolve site-related issues (paperwork, reject or late deliveries, etc.).Understand suppliers' operations processes, capacity, and delivery limitations and communicate effectively with both external parties and internal functions.Coordinate freight between suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and warehouses.Supervise receiving operations in the warehouse and inspect products once received following company policies.Experience and requirements:2 years of experience in a similar role.Knowledge of customs compliance.Advanced communication skills in English.Additional:Previous experience working at a broker.Knowledge in Annex 24 is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
