Esta vacante viene de la bolsa de empleo Talenteca.com Vacante para la empresa NAPS México en Pacifico -Tijuana, Baja California An important medical manufacturing company is looking for an Import/Export Assistant.
Position summary Assistance in activities related to imports and exports, as well as customs compliance.
Support in coordinating land, sea, and air transportation.
Duties and responsibilities Generate import and export records: Compare identification information and part numbers, weight, or measure new items to be registered.
Monitor and review inventories temporarily, submit permit extensions as required with the support of the import/export department to the Mexican authorities such as (COFEPRIS/SEMARNAT, etc.).
Able to identify differences in the type of product and packaging.
Coordinate transportation for imports and exports of the company in a timely manner.
Keep an accurate report of imported raw materials versus physical inventory in the plant.
Follow up on the creation of purchase orders and coordinate air, sea, or land shipments and tracking of shipments from port to port.
Work with purchasing and engineering for the creation and classification of new part numbers as well as changes to the BOMs that result from manufacturing changes.
Cycle counting of finished products and raw materials or as needed to maintain a well-balanced inventory.
Education and experience High school diploma, truncated degree in import and export or its equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, compliance department, and coordination of shipments.
Knowledge and skills Experience with processing Federal Express.
Domestic and International shipments.
Trustworthy, honest, motivated, and a team player.
Good communication skills, precise and detail-oriented.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
Computer literacy with the use of Microsoft Office.
Experience with an inventory management system is a plus.
Ability to read and understand instructions to perform the job, participate in product training, and other available resources to improve product knowledge.
Must be customer service-oriented.
Linguistic skills Must be very proficient in the English language.
This position requires the employee to be able to convey detailed information in English, both orally and in writing.
